The use of milk as the only protein source makes Babydog milk particularly digestible and tolerable. The low lactose content and the absence of starch increase its digestibility (the secretion of amylase in the puppy is often not sufficient).
Babydog milk has a lactose concentration of 18.5% and is therefore very similar to breast milk. The microgranular structure of this formula facilitates its solubilization, which takes place within 5 seconds without the formation of lumps.
This special milk is therefore the perfect substitute for natural mother’s milk, for feeding motherless puppies or as a food supplement for puppies from 1 to 4 weeks old.
Its unique complex of antioxidants (vitamins E and C, lutein, taurine) and mannan-oligosaccharides stimulate the puppy’s immune system, which is not yet fully developed.

The package of Babydog milk includes three teats of different sizes and a bottle. Use the teat that best matches the size of the puppy, otherwise the animal could swallow it.
The puppy needs time to get used to the new food. To prevent and avoid digestive problems, the change in diet must take place gradually and slowly.
To activate digestion, stimulate the puppy’s belly with a soft towel, at body temperature. Up to the third week of life, puppies are unable to urinate or defecate independently. Normally it is the mother who stimulates digestion by licking the puppy’s belly. For this reason it is very important to imitate the behavior of the canine mother after each bottle feeding, to start the digestive process. This behavior prevents possible constipation.
